NEOPOLITAN PROTEIN CAKE
Of course I have made this with differing amounts and protein powders. For the pictured Protein Cakes, I used Chocolate Isoflex by Allmax and Metabolic Reset Strawberry.
- 1 packet/serving Metabolic Reset Strawberry
(normally I would use Bio X Strawberry Banana or Strawberry
- PGX Granules (optional or psyllium)
- Sweetener
- Davinci Sugar Free Syrup (I used a mix of Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry and Vanilla)
- Baking Soda.
1. Blend Protein powders together and add Sweetener
2. Add Sugar Free Syrup (just a bit as you want the powder to melt)
3. Add a bit of psyllium or PGX (optional)
4. Take a few TBs out into a seperate Glass mini bowl/Ramekin
5. Add pinch of Baking Soda and stir quickly as it puffs up
6. Stick in Microwave for 33sec
5. Repeat
You could also add some Vanilla Protein Powder for a TRULY Neopolitan experience or add to Protein Ice Cream! Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla.....
- feel free to add strawberry jam or cocoa to batter!
Thank you for your comments on my blog! It brought tears to my eyes. I am really feeling Reading to kick my "ed" this time and you're so right- I need to lead by example for my son!
ReplyDeleteI meant "ready" not "reading"!
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, I have been thinking more and more about protein powders. I see them added to recipes, etc. So do you recommend them ( since you know a lot about nutrition I thought I would ask.) Thanks!
ReplyDeletebrilliant, doll! :) looks sooo yummy!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could find more flavors of vegan protein powder that I like...I could create a lot more of your fun creations. I will definitely try millet for breakfast like you suggested!
