Review: President's Choice Sugar Free Ketchup

PC Blue Menu Ketchup Type Sauce
I love Heinz's sugar-free ketchup. However, as many of us have discovered, it is often hard to find in grocery stores. Enter President's Choice (Superstore in Canada, Loblaw's) "Ketchup style type sauce". This great alternative is nearly identical in taste and texture to Heinz's ketchup, at a much lower cost, and at 65% fewer calories than the original version!

  1. I'm OBSESSED with Heinz Sugar Free Ketchup! I was so excited when I found out Heinz made a sugar free ketchup because for so long.... I had not had ketchup due to it's high sugar content!!!!! THANK GOODNESS TO THE KETCHUP GODS there are so many options now! I totally need to try the stevia sweetened brand! Have you ever tried it?

    1. I have tried pretty much all sugar free, no sugar added ketchups, with the exception of some of the Agave sweetened ones. I always add my own spice blend to them (sometimes Italian and Cayenne, depending on the meal), and I do like most of them. I find that I get used to them all pretty quickly, and if I find the flavor a bit "off" I add sweetener and spices, and make it "my own". It's worth trying. If you live in Canada, I strongly recommend trying the President's Choice version I reviewed above--it tastes identical to Heinz
