Lovely Saturday!

This morning I had one of the best workouts I've had in a long time. I felt so pumped and positive afterwards, that I decided to go to safeway and buy some more cucumbers, red peppers, mustard, tuna and my safeway canned beans. They were on sale until today. I ended up buying SIX peppers, another 10 cucumbers, 12 cans of wax beans, 2 tuna's, & 2 heinz mustards. As you can see from the picture, I already have quite a few cuc's, but am eating 2-3 per day. The girl at the register rang the peppers through as rutabagas accidentally, and I didn't notice until I got home. I paid $2.80 for 6 peppers! It would have cost me over $20.00! YAY. I then went home, munched on some veggies, cut up my veggies, got my lunch all into my Tupperware, and went to see 'The Hangover'. After that I stopped to pick up more Xenergy's and buy some Perfect Food. I made the best shake and protein cakes using BioX's Isolate in Cookies and Cream and Scandinavian crisp bread before I had dinner. I work tomorrow which means I can load up on sugar free stuff.

Gorgeous red peppers.

More Protein Cakes

Some of today's protein cakes:

I made it through my workout, and braved it through work. I am convinced I have mono- I am so exhausted and lethargic all the time. After I went home, and ate. My dad dropped of protilife products, only to buy ALL the wrong ones (he got the soup and hot chocolate?? How is that even close to shakes?). I bought some Xenergy's to have pre-workout and some more SuperPumped. I got the Mango Guava and Blue Pom this time.
Tomorrow I am going to go to the gym, then go see a movie and hang with the new girl from work for a bit. I might pick up some Perfect Food as I am out of my vanilla flavoured Greens.

Thursday

Just got back from the gym and quick groceries @ Safeway. I got 5 bell peppers, 10 cucumbers, 5 Goldseal Smoked Light Tuna in H2O, and 9 cans of Safeway canned Whole Wax Beans.

I store all my protein powder ect in my gym locker, and I had the most incredible post workout breakfast EVER. I took the GG Scandinavian Bran sprinkles and filled about 1/2 of my shaker cup, I then added water, 1.5 scoops of the Genuine Health Greens+ Multi+ Vanilla powder, and 1 scoop of the Allmax Isoflex protein powder in Vanilla. I then took the GG Scandinavian Crisp Bread crackers, and broke some up, added more water and added the bran crisps until they got soggy and absorbed the liquid. I realize it looked GROSS (brown and green) but it tasted INCREDIBLE. I added some sweetner to it as well. I took some pictures, just so you guys can see how gross it looked. I promise it tasted so amazing. Sorry that the pics are so bad. I was trying to capture the 'green' color, but the lighting was bad and my cell didn't get a good shot.

After eating all day and doing nothing, I finally headed out and ended up buying Gourmet whole seed mustard from "Everything Done Right' and Mrs.Renfrew's Natural Mild Salsa".

The last pic is of the salsa and whole grain mustard mixed together. I was dipping in folded seaweed sheets instead of crackers. The mustard is unlike anything I've had before. It tastes 'fiber-y' and fantastic. I ended up eating 3/4 of the salsa and then had dinner. Now I am STUFFED.

Only 3 more days until the weekend!

Happy "mid-week' everybody! I refuse to say 'hump day'. I think who ever thought of that should be shot. Seriously. Hump day? I get that it is in the middle of the week, but come on!?!

Anyways, I am addicted to the greens+ vanilla flavor. Yesterday I had 4 servings eaten thick like molassas. This morning I frothed it up in my magic bullet with water and 2 ice cubes. I used to make them into smoothies or slushies with water, sf syrup and lots of ice. I also had another serving this morning eaten thick. I can't get the proper "green" color to show up on the pictures. It was a really nice 'milky' pastelish green.

I'm headed to the gym @ 7am, then work (which technically I'm not scheduled today, but whatever) and this afternoon I have an appointment @ 4pm and another one starts @ 5pm! MY 4oclock doesn't end until 5 so I have no idea what I was thinking.

This was dinner. Cut up asparagus on top, no tuna this time.

Tuesday

These are some of my protein pancakes/cakes with sf jello on top. I had them with a protilife shake before dinner. I also got a free Genuine Health Greens+ Multi+ Vanilla tub and absolutely love the flavor. I am not a huge fan of the amount of lecithin they add, but it was a free gift. I usually get Garden of Life's "Perfect Food'.

This is the Greens product I got. I also made the protein cakes with BioX Power Whey Isolate in Chocolate. Not only are they the BEST tasting protein you can get, they are also the highest quality. They are alkaline in your body, as opposed to acidic, they have all 4-6 micro and macro fractions, and they use aminogen. Being in the industry that I am, I have tried pretty much ALL. My favorites before this were Ultimate Nutritions IsoSensations 93 (loved the Chocolate Fudge, and Cafe Brazil), and Allmax Isoflex (Peanut Butter Chocolate, Van, Chocolate, Chocolate Mint). Then I got my hands on the BioX. IT IS CREAMY WITH WATER! It makes all the others taste thin and fake and like crap. Not even kidding. They have the BEST vanilla, strawberry banana (and it tastes creamy and NOT artificial), Cookies and Cream (too good), Chocolate (to die for) and their newest is the Chocolate Peanut Butter. OMG I can't even talk about it. It is amazing. And a 93% isolate. Suffice it to say that I literally (without exaggeration) have 8 2lbs tubs in my gym locker, and another 5 storing at my parents house. They also have a whole Stevia Natural Sweetened line, fantastic company!

Another Monday morning...

I can't believe it is monday ALREADY. I advocate a 3 day weekend. I always say that Saturday is your 'first' real day off, when you don't have to get up and work and you slowly ease into relaxing. Sunday you tend to procrastinate and stress simutaneously because on one hand you want to enjoy your self and on the other you are rushing to make the best of it because tomorrow you will be back in the grind. You also try to do all your errands for the week and get everything done. So I personally, end up WAY more stressed. Monday should be called 'Sunday 2" and be an actual day of R&R. Feeling blah again today, but a bit more positive. I've definitely been struggling with some depression lately.

So tired, but on my way to the gym for cardio. I really want to lose that last 8 lbs. I cut up some healthy snacks to eat at work, plus I also have a container of Chinese Cabbage to munch on, and Safeway canned whole wax beans.
I seem to have a penchant for Red peppers lately. So yummy!

8pm:

I did my cardio, and made it through work (barely), then went to grab some scandinavian crisp bread, my protilife (vanilla this time) and 1.5scoops of Isoflex Vanilla Protein for my protein cheesecakes. I ate 2 packages of the suichoy cabbage, and tons of sushi seaweed sheets, some jello and went to lie down. Dinner was my normal tuna noodle salad casserole.

My protein 'cakes' and my protilife creamy thick shake with crushed GG Scandinavian crisp bread on top.

Father's Day

Due to all the 'drama' I've had with my family, Father's Day and Mother's Day are especially hard for me. I have a hard time reconcilling the absolute love I feel for my dad, and the resentment, hurt and pain I often feel towards him...

I did my 52min cardio this morning, and then went to safeway for groceries. I got 5 red peppers, Roma tomatoes, green onions, canned yellow wax beans, 8 bags of Fresh Express Romaine, 10 Cucumbers, Heinz mustard and some tuna and Crystal Light. I am almost out of my Edmond Fallot Basil Dijon mustard. I am so addicted to this gourmet stuff, I go through 1-2 jars A WEEK. I really want to try the Tarragon, but I haven't been able to get it yet. Then I had breakfast/lunch which consisited of 2 packs of Suichoy, wax beans, asparagus (from a glass jar) mustard, 1/2 bag of baby carrots and 10+ sheets of Nori Seaweed. I knew that I was feeling depressed due to thinking about my dad (plus it was rainy and overcast) and I would most likely stay home and eat my feelings all day- so I called the independant theatre right by my apartment to make sure they were playing the Czech movie 'Empties' (I speak Czech) and went o see it. I then journaled a bit, came home and nibbled on seaweed sheets rolled up like crackers dipped in mustard, or Walden Farms jam and had more baby carrots. I'm going to make a big cucumber salad next, my protilife chocolate shake with pgx and sugar free Cookie Dough Davinci Syrup, and Protein cheese cake (from Isoflex protein) and then my big dinner with shirataki noodles, canned yellow beans, tomato, reb bell peppers, green onion, tuna, lettuce bamboo shoots etc.

Here is my lunch:

My protilife shake with GG Scandinavian Crispbread and sf maple syrup drizzled on top.

Here are the protein cake and pancakes (I had 8 with jello on top):

Here's dinner:

My morning 'Rise and Shine' powder which I add to my Xenergy in the morning. My cucumber/crystal light, bamboo shoot/lemon juice, sweetner, and jello salad.
2 300g packs of Sui Choy, 6 huge leaves of Chinese Cabbage, can of yellow wax beans, can of bamboo shoots, asian dressing, mustard and 7 sheets of Nori Seaweed sheets.
I think taking the ibuprofen and gravol everynight, and immediately post workout is why I am so spaced out and groggy lately. I made it through my workout, got to work, and left in about 50min with a headache and exhausted. Got home and ate the above, plus 255g of baby carrots, 1/2 red pepper, 1 serving of my instant Baker's Deluxe cereal, and 4 GG Scandinavian Crisp Breads (which I am counting as 32cal a slice, not 12= 7carbs, 1g protein= 8g*4cal/gram=32)

Thursday

This is my morning breakfast. I had 3 bowls of this, 4 bran crackers ( this is 1/2 of one split into 4ths) with the instant cereal microwaved. This is 1/2 the serving.

This is another tiny bowl of it, this time made with DaVinci Gourmet SF coconut syrup, bran crackers and some sugar free pancake syrup stirred in. Off to go make a cucumber salad, sui choy, and veggie platter.

My workout this morning was alright. Not a ton of energy, but I was in that meditative 'zoned out' mind set. It went by fast and it was a blur the entire time. Felt like my brain wasn't turned on. Did 55min on the elliptical.

Below is part of my cucumber salad. Cuc's, cystal light, cinnamon, sweetner, lemon juice and a scoop of PGX fiber with sf jello!

Monster bowl with 2 packs of fermented Sui Choy, 1 can of yellow wax beans, 1 can of bamboo shoots, cucumbers with honey mustard. I ate this with 7 big sheets of Nori Seaweed as wrappers.

I then went to see the movie UP again, ate about 30 mr.freezie sugar free popsicles, and then came home amidst a freak down-pour and made dinner. Had Chinese Cabbage instead of my romaine, with shiritaki noodles, bamboo, cucumbers, red pepper, green onion, tomato, yellow canned beans, tuna and my seaweed wrappers.
